A fantastic opportunity to acquire a genuine German Third Reich-era Dress Bayonet in excellent condition.
This ceremonial bayonet was manufactured by the esteemed firm E. Pack & Söhne in Solingen, Germany, a highly respected name in WWII edged weapons production. This piece was designed for NCOs and enlisted men to be worn with their walking-out and parade uniforms.
Key Features for the Collector:
• Authentic Maker Mark: Stamped clearly with the sought-after "Hammering Siegfried" trademark of E. PACK & SÖHNE SOLINGEN.
• High Quality Blade: Features the original bright, mirror-like nickel plating on the blade, typical of ceremonial pieces. The finish is well-preserved with great shine.
• Classic Design: The pommel exhibits the characteristic "bird's head" or eagle-style hilt, common to Army (Heer) dress bayonets of the period.
• Excellent Condition: The bayonet has clean black grips (likely Bakelite) and the bright plating is largely intact, showing minimal age and wear for an 80-year-old piece.
