WW1 manufactured Canadian Ross Rifle Bayonet Mk II with Mk II scabbard, fits the Ross Rifle Mk III
Dated March 1916, lots of markings and provenance. This blade was arsenal modified to be more effective in combat/trenches.  The Ross Rifle Mk III saw extensive use with the Canadian Army in France and Belgium during WW1 right up until the Ross was replaced by the Lee Enfield Mk III* Rifle in mid 1916.
Bayonet is in good condition and a great Canadian Expeditionary Force artifact from the Great War.
