Antique English Double Barrel Howdah pistol in .577 Snider . THIS IS A BLACK POWDER GUN NOT SMOKELESS.
The pistol was manufactured by Robert S. Garden, 29 Piccadilly, London some time between 1864 and 1877. The Barrels are 6⅞", the load written down by the past owner was a 480 Grain bullet with 70 grains of Black Powder.
