1883 German Reichsrevolver, Rare Commercial Variant

Hard to find German Model 1883 Reichsrevolver Commercial example manufactured by VCS CGH Suhl. The commercial variants are void of military markings on the backstrap as well they have the much nicer checkered grips. This revolver is chambered in 11mm German Ordnance which is very similar to 44 Russian, most use 44 Russian in these Reichsrevolvers perfectly. This revolver is an early 2 digit serial number. The action on this piece functions excellent. Half and full cock work well. Timing and lockup are excellent as well. The bore and cylinder walls rate good-very good for a vintage revolver with some common wear. Original grips are in great shape, lanyard ring is intact. Exterior finish shows losses. The sideplate safety lever works well as it should. All serial numbers match. The spring loaded center pin release screw end has a chipped off piece, this doesn't affect the functionality.
