French 1873 Service Revolver, Antique Status

French Model 1873 Service Revolver, manufactured in 1877, 4.5" barrel  6 shot. Chambered to accept 45ACP handloads (not modern off the shelf) as well as 455 Webley. Many of these 1873's had their cylinders lightly machined from WW2 era and forward to make them more usable in availabile calibers as 11mm was obsolete. All French 1873's in original 11mm, 45ACP and 455 Webley are classed antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Revolver will come with an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. These 1873's are very robust, well built revolvers. The action on this piece functions well in single and double action. Timing and lockup are good, about 1-2mm of common, non concerning movement in lockup. Bore and cylinder walls in good shape, there is some wear and pits. Original grips are in good shape with some small chips/wear. Lanyard ring is intact. If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire. $2150 includes Free Shipping.
