First Nazi Mauser. SA 1934 banner (SS)

very rare and highly sought after late 1934 production Mauser Banner K Rifle.  The rifle is cartouched with the Ch.d.A marking which stands for the chief of the Training system of the SA. known as the Chef des Ausbildungswesens der obersten SA.  Approximately 10,000 rifles were sold by Mauser to the S.A. to arm this group of brown shirted goons.   the S.A. was downsized and re-organized and it is possible that this rifle ended up in the Army or SS or it may have stayed in the SA.  The Mauser Banner K Rifles are considered to be the most beautiful and visually stunning military rifles that Mauser ever produced Ch.d.A marked rifles are right at the top of the list of the most sought after rifles of the Nazi era. This particular example still retains it's original standard modell style sling. The bore has some pitting but rifling is deep. Unfortunately this example likely fired a lot of very evil rounds. (Most of this text was taken from an exact example that sold back in 2020 for 3900USD)
