Mosin-Nagant M91/30 PU Sniper Rifle — 1943 Izhevsk Arsenal, Cal. 7.62×54R.
Receiver is stamped with the correct Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow mark and dated “1943r.” Serial number 165* is matching on the receiver, bolt, floorplate and buttplate, indicating a matching-numbers rifle.
Rifle retains the bent bolt handle and original sniper-type machining consistent with a wartime PU sniper conversion. Full-length hardwood stock preserves wartime finger grooves and shows light service wear with a smooth, aged patina. Metal surfaces present a deep blued tone with minor handling marks. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling.
The included PU 3.5× scope (marked №Б-00098) is an original Soviet scope body consistent with wartime manufacture and postwar arsenal refurbishment in 1945. Optics are clear, reticle is sharp, and adjustments function correctly. The side scope mount base is a later reproduction
Overall, the rifle presents exceptionally well as a representative WWII Soviet PU sniper configuration with strong historical character.
