Rare Bavarian Amberg Arsenal Mauser 71/84 w/ Tiger Striped Stock

I am offering a rarely seen Amberg Arsenal Mauser 71/84 rifle. Last year of manufacture 1888, issued as Bavarian 12th Infantry Regiment, Replacement Battalion, 1st Company, Weapon #30. Imperial Second German Reich’s first repeating rifle that bridges the gap between breach loading single shot rifle and the later famous Gew 88. Chambered in 43 Mauser (11x60mm Mauser).

This particular rifle has an exceptionally nice walnut stock that is 100% tiger striped from muzzle all the way to the butt, on both sides. All visible serial number matches except middle band. The rifle is in very good condition likely due to the fact that it was issued to the Replacement Battalion as a likely training rifle.

The rifle can be picked up in Thornhill, ON. Or be shipped anywhere in Canada at the buyer’s expense. There is also ammunition (43 Mauser or 11x60mm Mauser) available for this rifle for pick up only.
