FAmous Rare M1941 johnson semiauto still alive under current Canadian Law.

The M1941 Johnson is a compact, semi-automatic rifle designed by Melvin Johnson and built around a short-recoil operating system and a rotating bolt. Chambered in .30-06 Springfield, it uses a 10-round detachable box magazine (the rifle shared magazine design compatibility with Johnson’s light machine gun) and is noted for its slim, handy profile and quick handling. Issued in limited numbers to U.S. Marine Corps units in World War II, it offered faster follow-up shots and easier magazine changes than the contemporaneous M1 Garand, but its more complex mechanism and supply/maintenance issues kept it from wide adoption. Collectors prize it today for its distinctive design and historical rarity.

Its chambered in 3006 with a snail magazines of 10, internally pinned 5/10 , small wrist crack on wood but there is a repair in handle. Otherwise good.Fair rifling and cycles as it should.

Original sling , comes with bayonet
