Carcano Carbine 8x57 Mauser Conversion ORANGEVILLE GUN SHOW

NO TRADES.Carcano carbine converted to 8x57mm Mauser. 17 1/2 inch barrel. Bore is very good. Probably done post WW2 by a North African country as there was lots of 8x57 ammo and lots of Carcanos around. No indications that this is one of the late war German converted ones. 2 reinforcing recoil bolts in the stock, elongation in the top of the front receiver ring. Stamped “7.9” on the rear sight. The stamped stock number matches the barrel number. I have fired it and it functions fine but has a bit of recoil. No major damage to the stock. Looks to be missing the front barrel band screw and maybe the band tension spring? Front sight blade is also missing. Due to the negative press these have received in the past labelling them as “dangerous” it will be sold AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY NO RETURN NO REFUND. $400 FIRM PLUS ACTUAL SHIPPING.
