Here is a rifle that has been there, and done that. In excellent mechanical shape, its only fault is the ejector is missing. The extractor works fine, only the little nub in the bottom of the trough, that kicks the brass into the air, is missing. The previous owner removed it so his expensive brass wouldn’t get damaged on the concrete floor at the range, and he unfortunately lost it. The part is available, costs about $30 US. I didn’t bother to replace it, as I understand exactly why the previous owner removed it! Bore is in great shape, shoots very accurately. Just seat a Lee .50-70 bullet over 70gr. FFG, and away you go. Perfect Christmas gift for fans of the Old West, the same rifle Buffalo Bill Cody was so fond of.
