WTS: Marlin 1969's 30-30 Texan brass saddle ring
I think it’s the straight grip brass saddle ring, referred as “Texan” model. 20inch barrel with the early round lever. I haven’t shot this one the last decade, but everything functions correctly. Lever action is incredibly smooth operating.
For cosmetic issues:
-There is few dings and handling marks on the buttstock and forearm, as showed on the pictures.
-The forearm walnut started to dry split around the barrel band area, but it is only cosmetic from drying, the split doesn’t appear to be completely through.
- The barrel started to have few old and very light freckling spot/ surface rusts but no pitting (I refrain myself from using steel wool on that original rifle). Blued barrel as a few rubbing marks from general handling and carrying, blue is a little thing on some post here and there (under the receiver and barrel band).
Scope is a older gloss finish ScopeChief VI built by Bausch and Lomb in Japan (Bushnell). Field of view is 73.7 - 25.5 feet at 100 yds. 1" tube, 9.6" overall length, mounted on weaver see-thru rings.
Round count is unknow, but rifling is strong and nice.
Not interested in trades right now.
I’m asking $1399 with all accessories (shipped to majors, with basic insurance).
*** I travel travel between Quebec city to Ottawa from time to time (by the north shore of Montreal)***
