This single shot break-open rifle looks like new, both inside and out, as can be seen in the photos. It has fired about one box 170 grain test rounds producing consistent 2” groups at 100 yards with a scope, so perfectly good for deer or moose hunting at normal ranges.  It’s a tidy little gun.  Very safe because of its simple fail-safe design.  Thus it is perfect for a beginning hunter who will learn that "first shot counts".  Also these are much admired by the single-shot advocates.  Time has shown that these rifles utterly reliable, if not unbreakable, weighing about 7 lbs.  It has a 22” barrel, a length of pull of 14” and a hunters trigger pull, with a crisp let-off, of about 4lbs.

For scope mounting it comes with a picatinny rail and the hammer extension. (The scope shown is not included.)  The open sights it comes with, are fully adjustable (rear) and can be easily seen over the scope rail.  (Many enthusiasts prefer open sights and a nice Williams peep can be mounted on the existing rear screw mounts.)  (illustration shown) The gun extracts, but does not eject, which reloaders might appreciate. (For an additional $60 I have a new never-used set of reloading dies to go with it).  Comfortable to aim and carry, solid little gun easily comes completely apart making it easy to transport, store, clean and maintain.
