Well this was one of my project guns, the barrel was on a 94ae receiver originally. Then someone put it on a 94 top eject at some point. That is how I received it, issue was the receiver was marked .44-40. Which in my mind made it an unsafe gun. Let alone it did not feed well from the magazine tube. So I took it apart and made the rifle a .44-40 again. I then mounted the barrel on a 1892 receiver, but still feed issues. So I mounted the barrel back on a 94AE receiver and tracked down a new set of 45 colt feed guides. Feeding issues now good. Action is tight and shoots good. Barrel is 16 inches I do believe, real short ass. I also have 112 rounds of ammo going with the rifle and is included in the price.
