Spanish Mauser FR7 in 7.62x39

Spanish Mauser FR7 — laminated K98 stock. Modified to shoot 7.62×39 (can be returned to .308). Mags, bolt and receiver all match; shiny bore and smooth shooter. I got a black bear with peep sights at 75 yards using Norinco hunting ammo. 

I put on an M1-carbine style vented handguard (held on with rare-earth magnets). Stock has a hairline crack on the wrist but it’s stabilized and doesn’t move. 

As for the caliber conversion, it's been years and I forgot which brand is the conversion kit, but it's a metal sleeve, I have my local gunshop install it for me. It has no feeding issues.
