This is an excellent example of the classic Czech combination gun, highly regarded for its precision engineering and versatility. The CZ 584-03 MOD 2 is the perfect "do-it-all" rifle for the Canadian hunter, combining a 12-gauge shotgun barrel with a powerful rifle barrel in one compact package.
Key Features & Calibers:
• Rifle Caliber: 5,6x52R. This is the European name for the classic .22 Savage Hi-Power cartridge. It is an effective and unique varmint and predator round, with S&B and Norma still producing ammunition.
• Shotgun Caliber: 12 Gauge, chambered for 2 ¾" (12/70).
• Design: Robust Over/Under (O/U) break-action with a solid-steel receiver marked Made in Czechoslovakia.
• Triggers: Equipped with double triggers; the front trigger often features a set-trigger function for a light, precise break on the rifle shot (a key feature of these CZ models).
• Condition: The firearm appears to be in very good, used condition. The bores are excellent (as seen in the internal barrel photo). The wood stock has a raised cheekpiece and beautiful figuring, showing honest handling marks typical of a vintage field gun.
