This tunic and trousers are in the post-WWII version of the Italian Army 'Modello 1929 Telo Mimetico' camouflage pattern introduced circa 1950 and used until circa 1985-1990.

The tunic has a very faint black ink stamp on the inside with size (shoulder width is approximately 27 inches) & manufacturing date information (11th photo) and also numerous black ink stamps on the inside identifying the manufacturer which is "MANIF. COTONIERE MERID. NAPOLI" (10th photo). The manufacturer's information tag to the back of the collar has mostly frayed away. It is in excellent condition except for the third female snap fastener down the snap fastener fly which is unfortunately missing (7th photo), the right elbow reinforcement pad which is moderately dirt-stained (8th photo), and a handwritten price in black marker on the inside right below the rear of the collar. It has an elasticized bottom, semi-elasticized cuffs, and a mid-waist adjustment drawcord (9th photo). The fly has 6 snap fasteners. There are two chest pockets with flaps (each flap has two snap fasteners) and two buttoned shoulder straps. There are 5 buttons on the outside of the rear of the collar for attachment of a hood (6th photo). The elbows have built-in square reinforcement pads. Each collar point has a Sottotenente (Sub-Lieutenant) rank insignia on it's front (5th photo).

The trousers are stamped in black ink on the inside of the front of the waistband with size, manufacturing date, and manufacturer's information (last photo). They are in excellent unissued condition with all snap fasteners & buttons present and the built-in suspenders intact. The waist is approximately 37 inches (the two waistband adjustment tabs can tighten this up a bit) and the inseam approximately 28 inches. The fly has 3 buttons and a snap fastener at the top. Each waist adjustment tab has two buttons for adjustment. The bottom hems each have a button and two button holes for adjustment. Each built-in suspender strap has 3 button holes for adjustment that mate up with a single button on the outside of the front of the waistband. There are two cargo side pockets with flaps (each flap has two snap fasteners) and two vertical slash hip pockets. The knees have built-in square reinforcement pads.
