1980's Belgian Army Para Commando Brigade 'Jigsaw' Camo Beret, Smock, & Trousers

This smock and trousers are in the 2nd version of the Belgian Army 'Jigsaw' camouflage pattern introduced in the mid-1970's and used until the early 2000's. 

The dark green beret's badge is of the artillery component of the Belgian Army's Para Commando Regiment (now called the Special Operations Regiment). The inside is marked with the size (59), manufacturer's name (A.B.L. Cofabeba), and manufacturing date (1984). It is in excellent condition. 

The smock is in excellent condition with all buttons present and a functional zipper. There is a small white manufacturer's tag to the inside of the back of the collar which indicates the smock is in size N5F (shoulder width is approximately 20.5 inches) and was manufactured in 1981 by Begetex. Each cuff is adjustable via a small tab and 2 buttons. It also has a half-length zippered fly, 2 waist adjustment tabs each with a single female & 2 male snap fasteners, 2 large slanted chest pockets with flaps (each flap has a single snap fastener), 2 large front hip cargo pockets with flaps (each flap has a single snap fastener), a crotch jump flap that attaches to the inside bottom via snap fasteners (6 in the front and 2 in the back), and 2 buttoned shoulder straps. 2 black rubberized slip-on shoulder strap rank tabs for the rank of Sergeant are included. 

The trousers are in excellent unissued condition with all buttons present. There is a small white manufacturer's tag to the inside of the back of the waist which indicates the trousers are in size 8 (waist is approximately 39 inches and inseam is approximately 29.5 inches) and were manufactured in 1987 by Michielsens. They have a 5-button fly, 6 belt loops, adjustable hems (via drawtapes), 2 side cargo pockets with single-button flaps, two vertical slash hip pockets, and 2 seat pockets with single-button flaps.
