The rifle was not as described in the ad, at all. It was described, among other things, as having a ''very good'' bore and a wood absent of chips and cracks. In reality, the bore is highly pitted and damaged. I assure anyone reading this review that the smallest and quickest look into that bore would convince anyone that it is incredibly far from being ''very good''. Someone who, in his own words, has ''been selling guns for over 30 yrs'' could not possibly be so wong in his evaluation of the product he is selling. Also, there is a major crack inside of the stock and a small one at the tang. I asked the seller for a refund but he refused to, stating that ''If you wanted a new perfect gun, maybe you should've gone to Canadian Tire'' and added ''KEEP THE GUN OR RESELL IT, BUT PLEASE DON'T BOTHER ME ANYMORE WITH THIS STUPID SITUATION''. Is this really a way to treat a buyer, or anyone else for that matter? All in all, a very unpleasant interaction.
Jim is a very good person I enjoyed dealing with him, we had a couple good conversations on the phone. Realized I knew him from Cgn. Very experienced seller! Super efficient shipping.

Canada post is back to work.. and my rifle arrived today after being held up due to the strike. Everything was better than described and the price was more than fair!
